Custom Logo Pendants for Brands, Labels and Teams
A logo pendant turns a brand, label or crew mark into gold and diamonds. Send clean vector artwork (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) so the 3D model keeps the logo's exact proportions, confirm you own or have the rights to the mark, then choose size, karat and stone coverage. Thin lines and tiny text are simplified so they survive casting.
Iced pendants in the showroom
See allWhat a logo pendant is, and who orders one
A logo pendant is a brand mark built as jewelry: a record label's emblem, a clothing brand's monogram, a company's symbol or a team crest. Founders wear one as a signature piece. Labels and teams order sets so everyone on the roster wears the same mark.
The job is translation. A logo designed for a screen or a T-shirt has to become a solid object that can be cast, polished and set with stones, and still read as the same logo from across a room.
How a logo piece works at Franky Diamonds
You send the artwork and tell us the size, the gold and how much ice. We come back with the design and the exact price before anything is made. Once you approve, the piece is made and delivered with insured shipping, or picked up at our Miami showroom.
One rule comes first: use a logo you own or have permission to use. Confirm the rights in your request. A logo belonging to another company is a trademark, and turning it into jewelry for sale without permission is a legal problem for everyone involved. Start the request on the custom page.
Artwork we need
| File | Good for a 3D model | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF | Best | Clean outlines scale to any size with no blur |
| High-resolution PNG on a clear background | Workable | Will be traced into vector first |
| JPG screenshot or a photo of a shirt | Last resort | Edges get guessed; expect a redraw round |
Along with the file, send the brand colors (Pantone or hex codes if you have them), which parts of the logo matter most, and a photo of the logo as people usually see it. That tells the designer what can be simplified and what has to stay exact.
Translating a flat logo into gold
Every logo goes through the same checks before modeling:
- Minimum line width. Hairline strokes thinner than about 0.8 mm in metal are fragile, and a line needs to be wider still to hold a row of stones. Thin lines get thickened or turned into polished gold accents.
- Small text. Taglines and registered marks under a few millimeters tall disappear at pendant size. They usually move to the back as engraving.
- Floating parts. Letters or shapes that do not touch need a hidden bridge or a backing plate to hold them together.
- Depth. Flat logos can be given layers, with the main mark raised above the background, so the piece has shadow and dimension.
The 3D render shows all of this before anything is made. Ask for it at real size, front and side. For how renders work, see 3D renders and CAD.
Sizing a logo pendant
| Height | What reads | Wear |
|---|---|---|
| 20 to 25 mm | Simple icon logos only | Everyday, on a 2 to 3 mm chain |
| 35 to 45 mm | Icon plus a short word | Statement, on a rope or Cuban link |
| 50 to 70 mm | Full logo with detail and color | Centerpiece on a heavy chain |
| 75 mm and up | Complex crests and wordmarks | Show piece; consider an open back to cut weight |
Wide logos are trickier than tall ones. A horizontal wordmark at 60 mm wide may only be 20 mm tall, so its letters end up small. Many brands use their icon alone for jewelry for that reason.
Matching sets for a team or label
For a set, the design work happens once and every copy is built from the same model, so all the pieces match in size and layout. Common ways to set up a team order:
- Tiered sets: a large iced piece for the founder or captain, smaller versions of the same mark for the team.
- Same piece, different metal: yellow gold for one group, white gold for another.
- Personalized backs: the same front with each member's name or number engraved on the back.
Send the number of pieces and any per-person details at the start; the quote covers the whole set. More on group orders is on our matching crew chains page.
Brand colors: colored stones, enamel or gold tones
Few logos are only gold and white. Three ways to bring in color:
- Colored stones. Sapphires come in blue and many other colors, rubies in red, emeralds in green. They give the richest color and sparkle like the diamonds around them.
- Enamel. Glass enamel fused into recessed areas gives flat, solid brand colors and keeps fine color shapes crisp.
- Gold tones. Yellow, white and rose gold side by side can separate parts of a logo without any added color.
Black is common in logos. It can be done with black enamel, a dark plated finish on part of the piece, or dark stones. Each has different wear, so ask which one suits how often the piece will be worn.
Choosing metal and karat for a logo piece
Logo pendants are often large and flat, which makes gold weight a big part of the price. 10K gold is 41.7 percent pure and the most durable; 14K is 58.3 percent and a richer yellow; 18K is 75 percent and the softest. A big 14K piece with an open back can weigh much less than the same piece solid, with no change from the front. White gold behind the diamond areas makes the stones look whiter, which is why many iced logos use white gold or two-tone.
Choosing diamonds: lab vs natural for a logo
Iced logo pendants carry a lot of stones, so origin moves the price more than on almost any other piece. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same look in pavé and cost far less, which lets a team order full coverage on every piece. Natural diamonds suit a single signature piece where origin matters. The FTC requires lab-grown stones to be disclosed as laboratory-grown, so the origin should be on your quote. For reference, our natural diamond house pendants, such as P-0004 at $5,800 and P-0003 at $9,500, show what full natural coverage costs on a finished piece. Compare origins in lab vs natural diamonds.
Timeline for a logo pendant
Logo pieces usually need more design rounds than letters, because the brand owner has to sign off on how the mark was simplified. Vector artwork shortens that step; a screenshot lengthens it. Colored stones in exact brand shades can take longer to source, and team sets multiply the setting work. Your timing comes with the quote, and it starts when the design is approved.
What drives the price of a logo pendant
- Size and complexity. Larger and more detailed logos need more gold and more modeling.
- Stone coverage and origin. Full pavé in natural diamonds sits at the top; polished gold with accents at the bottom.
- Color method. Colored stones cost more than enamel; gold tones cost the least.
- Number of pieces. A set spreads the design work across every copy.
Our custom pendant cost guide breaks each line down with gold math.
Wearing a big logo piece every day
Logo pendants tend to be large, and large means heavy. A 60 mm solid gold logo can weigh more than many chains. Three things keep it comfortable:
- An open or hollowed back that removes gold nobody sees, while keeping full thickness where the stones sit.
- A chain that can carry it. Heavy pendants belong on a 5 mm or wider link with a strong clasp. In our catalog, the Miami Cuban Chain 5mm starts from $4,260 and the Hollow Cuban Chain 8.5mm from $4,870, both 10K.
- A bail that matches the chain. The bail opening must clear the chain width, and on a heavy piece it should be thick enough not to wear through.
Ask for the finished gram weight on the render. If it feels heavy on paper, it will feel heavier on your neck after a long day.
The back of the pendant
The back is useful space. Brands put the founding year, a slogan, the member's name or a piece number like "07 of 12" there. Engraving on the back keeps the front clean and makes each piece in a set personal. Decide what goes on the back before approval so it is part of the model, not an afterthought.
Checklist before you approve a logo render
- Proportions match the original artwork side by side.
- No line is so thin it will bend or lose its stones.
- Text is readable at the real size, not just zoomed in on screen.
- Colors are mapped to stones, enamel or gold tones you agreed on.
- Height, width and gram weight are written on the render.
- The bail fits the chain you will use.
- For sets: the number of pieces and every name or number on the backs is listed.
Start your logo pendant
Send the vector file, confirmation that you own or have the rights to the logo, the size, the gold color, how much ice, any brand colors and the number of pieces. Submit it through the custom request, or book time at the showroom to go over the artwork in person.
Questions people ask
Do I need a vector file?
It is strongly preferred. AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF files keep the logo's exact shapes at any size. A high-resolution PNG can be traced, but expect an extra round to check the redraw.
Can you make several matching pieces?
Yes. A set is built from one approved model, so every piece matches. You can vary metal color or engrave each member's name on the back, and the quote covers the full set.
Can you use colored stones for logo colors?
Colored stones such as sapphires, rubies and emeralds can match many brand colors, and enamel can give flat solid colors. Send your brand color codes so the options can be compared on the render.
Can you make a pendant of a famous brand's logo?
Only with written permission from the owner of that trademark. Use your own logo or one you are licensed to use, and confirm it in the request.
