Iced Out Rings: Real Diamond Signets in Solid Gold
An iced out ring is covered in diamonds so densely that little metal shows, usually through pavé, cluster or baguette settings. At Franky Diamonds, iced out rings are real diamonds in solid gold: our men's signets carry 3.30 to 6.95 carats on 11 to 16 grams of 10K gold, from $4,545 to $8,680.

Pavé, baguette or prong: three ways to ice a ring
| Setting | Look | Durability | Price driver |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pavé | A field of small round diamonds, all sparkle | Good; small beads hold each stone | Stone count |
| Baguette | Rectangular stones in rows, a clean glassy look | Very good in channels | Hand cutting and fitting |
| Prong | Raised stones, the most light | Fair; prongs catch | Stone size |
Baguette work costs more per carat because every stone is cut to fit its neighbor. That is why the Square Baguette Signet is priced above rings with more total carats.
Real iced vs fake iced
- Metal: real iced rings are solid gold, stamped 10K or 14K. Fakes are plated brass or silver; the plating wears through at the edges.
- Stones: real rings use diamonds. Fakes use cubic zirconia or moissanite. A diamond tester with electrical conductivity catches most moissanite.
- Weight: a solid gold signet with 3 to 7 carats is heavy, 11 grams and up on ours.
- Price: 4 carats of real diamonds on 12 grams of gold cannot cost $300.
Our rule is in the motto: "We ain't cuttin no corners." Full checklist: iced out jewelry buying guide.
What iced out means
"Iced out" means covered in diamonds, so the piece looks like ice. It came out of hip-hop and is now everyday jewelry language. Read what iced out means and the hip-hop jewelry guide for the history and the styles.
Why 10K gold for an iced ring
10K is 41.7% gold and the hardest common karat. An iced ring has hundreds of small settings, and harder metal keeps them tight longer. 14K is softer and richer in color; for a ring that takes daily knocks, 10K makes practical sense.
Iced out ring prices explained
An iced ring's price is three things added up: the gold, the diamonds and the hours of setting work. Our signets carry 11 to 16 grams of 10K gold, 3.30 to 6.95 carats of diamonds and hundreds of hand-set stones. That is why they start above $4,500. A $200 "iced out ring" can only exist with plated base metal and simulated stones, which is fine as a costume piece but is not what this page sells.
Choosing your first iced ring
Start with the face size that suits your hand. A face of about 12 to 15 mm reads big without overpowering most hands; wider faces suit larger hands. Choose prong faces for maximum sparkle, baguette faces for a clean, architectural look, and mixed round and baguette for both. Match the gold color to your chain so the pieces look like a set.
Sizing, care and matching pieces
Wide signets fit snug, so go up a quarter to half size. Ring size is not a menu choice on our product pages, so call 954-504-5640 to confirm sizing before you order. Clean iced rings weekly: warm soapy water, soft toothbrush across the face, rinse, dry. Pair with iced out chains or the wider iced out jewelry range, and see hip-hop jewelry. Every order ships insured. All sales are final, and you have 7 days after delivery to report a manufacturing defect. Try them on at 7900 NW 27th Ave, Unit 506, Miami FL 33147. All rings: rings.
Questions people ask
Are your iced out rings lab-grown or natural?
The signet listings describe the stones as diamonds with total carat weight. Ask before you order and we will confirm the origin of the stones in the exact ring.
Do iced out rings come with a certificate?
Pavé and baguette rings use many small diamonds graded as a range, not individually. Ask about the paperwork for the specific ring.
Can the ring be resized?
Resizing is not in our published policies, and fully iced rings are hard to resize in any case. Confirm your size before you order.
Can I see iced out rings in person in Miami?
Yes, at 7900 NW 27th Ave, Unit 506, Miami. Call 954-504-5640 first.
