Jewelry Store Near Fort Lauderdale: Franky Diamonds
Franky Diamonds has no Fort Lauderdale showroom. The only door is 7900 NW 27th Ave, Unit 506, Miami, FL 33147. From Fort Lauderdale City Hall at 100 North Andrews Avenue, the mapped drive is about 24.3 miles and about 36 minutes when the roads are clear. About 18.9 miles of that is I-95 south, then west on NW 81st Street to NW 79th Street. Traffic can add time. Call 954-504-5640 before the highway. Google lists Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, closed Sunday.
Cuban links worth seeing before the drive back
See allThe I-95 drive, counted
Broward to this showroom is a highway trip, not a neighborhood hop. Measured from Fort Lauderdale City Hall, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, the route is about 24.3 miles. The router’s clear-road time is about 36 minutes. You go west on Broward Boulevard to I-95, then south for about 18.9 miles. The exit is toward NW 81st Street. You continue west, and the road becomes NW 79th Street for about the last mile and a half, ending at NW 27th Avenue.
That 36 minutes is an empty-road figure. The same stretch of I-95 on a Friday afternoon can take much longer. Check the highway before you leave Andrews Avenue. If the map shows a crash south of Griffin Road, this is the day to ship the piece instead of sitting in it.
There is no Franky address in Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas, or Sawgrass. A listing that puts the shop in Broward is wrong. The unit is 506, in the Northside Shopping Center area of Miami, ZIP 33147. Phone 954-504-5640. The 954 area code is Broward’s, and the door is still in Miami. Do not let the area code invent a second store.
If you are starting from the beach side of Fort Lauderdale rather than City Hall, the mileage changes by a few miles, not by a different destination. You still want I-95 south and the NW 79th Street exit area. Put Unit 506 in the map, not the word Miami alone, or the pin will drop you downtown.
When the drive is worth it
Drive down when you need a chain or a ring on a body, not on a screen. Cuban widths are the clearest example. A flat 3.7mm is $1,355, a flat 5mm is $1,880, a flat 5.8mm is $2,060, and a different 5mm Miami Cuban is $4,260. Hollow 8.5mm is $4,870. Those tags are close enough in writing and far apart in the hand. Twenty-four miles is reasonable if you will actually put them on. It is a bad use of a Saturday if you already know the SKU and only need a box.
Lab diamond rings are the other in-person errand. The file runs $1,050 to $8,500, specs marked E and VS1, with a pear at $4,600 and ovals at $3,200 and $3,600. Finger size has to be settled before you pay. Resizing is not published. All sales are final.
Read the Cuban comparison in the passenger seat, and the ring collection if that is the job. The showroom layout is here.
When shipping beats the highway
Insured shipping is the Broward option this site actually offers. You pick the piece, the shop ships it insured, and you skip I-95. There is no Fort Lauderdale delivery driver on a published route, and no showroom appointment north of the county line.
Shipping does not relax the return rule. Manufacturing defects have 7 days. The piece must be unworn, with tags and the original packaging, and you need the receipt. Refunds are not offered. If you are unsure of length or finger size, do not use the mail as a fitting room. Either get the size first or make the drive and try it.
Custom pieces follow idea, design, exact price, then making. No lead time in days is posted. A wedding in Fort Lauderdale next month is not a date the website can promise. Ask the shop after the price is agreed, and get the date in writing. Start at the custom page.
How to book it so the trip is not wasted
Message @frankydiamonds or call 954-504-5640 before you enter I-95. Name the piece. Ask if it is in the case. Google lists Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, closed Sunday. Confirm that day. A same-day drive from Fort Lauderdale is only sane if they answer yes in the morning and the highway is moving. This page will not tell you the door is open.
Parking is a question for that call. Northside station, 3150 NW 79th Street, is about 0.4 miles west of the showroom if you ever come by Green Line from the south. From Fort Lauderdale the car is the normal tool. Station park-and-ride is not your reserved spot.
The shop opened in Miami in 2010. The family has been in the trade since 1990. The motto is "We ain't cuttin no corners." Budget the gas and the time honestly, then decide.
If you are already in Miami for something else
Pair the stop with a reason to be south. A proposal plan that starts with the ring is here. Beach wear after you own the piece is here. The downtown jewelry building, if you want a second look on the same day, is the Seybold at 36 NE 1st Street, about 8 miles from the showroom, not from Fort Lauderdale. Notes on that building are here. Franky is not inside it.
The history of the chain people drive down to see is the Miami Cuban link. Hold the hollow one and the flat one. Then either wear it back up I-95 or have it shipped insured so it is not in the trunk.
One showroom. Twenty-four miles. A phone call first.
